SuperEnalotto Jackpot of €223 Million Won in Lecco

Published

The SuperEnalotto jackpot has been won for the first time in 2026. A ticket played in the province of Lecco, in northern Italy, matched all six numbers in the draw of September 11, 2026 and won €223,173,416.83.

The second largest jackpot ever

The prize is the second largest jackpot in the history of SuperEnalotto and, according to the Italian press, the largest ever won with a single ticket or combination played at a retail outlet. The record remains the €371.1 million won on February 16, 2023, which was split into 90 shares of a group system.

Where and how it was played

The winning numbers were 64, 8, 52, 13, 16 and 70, with Jolly 17 and SuperStar 21. The ticket was played at a shop called Al Chicherin in the province of Lecco. Early reports placed the shop in La Valletta Brianza; the owner later told the press that the winning ticket was played at the company's other outlet in Oggiono. Italian media reported that the winning entry was a 5 euro ticket with five panels.

A long wait

Before this draw, the last SuperEnalotto 6 was won on May 22, 2025 in Desenzano del Garda, worth €35.4 million. With this win, the game has paid 135 top tier prizes since it began in 1997. With about 622 million possible combinations, matching all six numbers is one of the hardest jackpots in the world to hit.

What it means for players

After a win, the jackpot starts again from its base level and grows with every draw that has no 6. SuperEnalotto draws take place four times a week.
